"The Fourth Axis“ has released a couple of 2001 Christmas ornaments last year for more or less small money, including the One-Man-Spacepod. The model shown here has a diameter of approximately 5 cm and contains 6 parts. The kit is not accurate, but a nice represantation of a Spacepod - "good enough". The arms were only detailed on one side (the other one was flat), so I added the missing details with sheet styrene. To add a bit realism I glued a screenshot from Bowman in the pod into the windshield area, covered with a gloss coate to simulate the window. The model is mounted on a wooden base with a 3 mm diameter acrylic rod. I added a nameplate after I took the pictures: A black sign with the words "My god – it`s full of stars!!!“.
