This is another rare version of the original Enterprise. After seeing "The Cage" a few times I thought it would be interesting to assemble this version of the gray lady. After building a Polar Lights Enterprise once before, assembly was even faster and the imperfections of an otherwise nice kit easily fixed. There was some material referenced from the web on this one but used some imagination and watching the DVD of "The Cage". The finish was done in Model Master Light ghost gray mixed 50/50 with flat white painted over a base coat of neutral gray. Despite the subtle differences between the "The Cage" version and "Where no man has gone before", it is a unique variant of the classic ship.
