This is the Ertl "First Contact" version of the Enterprise E. The model is 19 inches long, 9 inches wide, 9 inches tall on stand. This one was fully painted with various airbrush paint effects, and copies the Federation paint scheme accurately. the lighting is provided by 60 strands of Fiber optic filaments, 2 power inverters (12V), several red and yellow LEDS. The engine lighting is accomplished with 3" micro-fluorescent tubes and some hi-intensity red diodes in the front engine compartment. The entire ship is on a museum quality stand with a power switch and engraved plaque bearing ship name and building date. This kit took 1½ months to produce.
