Here is my first Gundam kit ever. I decided to take the plunge and go straight for the Perfect Grade 1/60 RX 178 Gundam Mk. II from Bandai.

My first thought when I recieved the package was "Wow, that's a big box!" Thanks to the PG RX 178 reveiw on this site, I was ready to take on this challenge of a kit with 739 parts (according to the online store where I purchased this kit. I didn't even attempt to count the parts.)

Construction went very smoothly. Over the course of Thanksgiving break, I spent about 16 hours in assembly. The kit is straight out of the box with the stickers applied as directed. The only painting I did on this Gundam is in the cockpit. All in all, an excellent kit.
