Here's a lighted version of a Polar Lights TOS Enterprise. This model was modified to house a home made lighting system with flashing and static LEDs. All of the electronics are contained in a plywood box and powered with a 9 volt battery. Finishing was done with Testors Model Master acrylics and then sealed with a satin finish lacquer. Colors are custom mixed using only flat black and white and the rest of the details are enhanced with metallic enamel paints. The small scale of this particular version made lighting a challenge but a ton of fun!
