AT-AT

By John Nichols

This is the AMT AT-AT I bought shortly after "Revenge of the Sith" came out. The only modifications I made were closing up the rear of the drive section, and rebuilding the chin guns with toothpicks and some styrene tubing. I also added pennies in the feet to make it more stable. I painted it with Tamiya spray paint, and added a oil wash of Payne's Gray and Raw Umber. Finally I added some dry-brushing and some weathering with a Tamiya weathering kit.

This kit was had many "firsts" for me, and I learned a lot doing it.
